The ENI of Enrico Mattei was a pioneer in industrial development and into social and architectural development. ENI (with former Agip) developed in the 1960s several service-stations in Italy and abroad: those stations were not only petrol filling stations but also meeting points, with bars, restaurant, shops, hotels and a full range of services. ENI Austria celebrated this story and its 60 years of presence in Austria: Studio 3089 have designed at Palais Metternich the exhibition and the stages of this event.
